Experience Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary

Hope Is Where the Heart Is
Every volunteer at Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary becomes an extension of our dedicated animal staff, a helping hand for our maintenance teams.

Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good.

The Ubuntu Wildlife Rescue Sanctuary's volunteer program is based on true conservation principles.

The aim is to allow the volunteer the opportunity to gain knowledge of conservation programs in South Africa. Also to assist the animal-keeping staff, with the day-to-day care of the animals at the Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary.

Volunteers will also be involved in community upliftment projects according to their skills and interests.

What You will do:

You will be taught educational aspects of conservation, ethical conservation practice, you will help with sanctuary developments and tasks on the farm. Feeding the wildlife on the farm and getting a glimpse of what really goes into running and maintaining a rescue sanctuary!

The aim is to, allow the volunteer the opportunity to gain knowledge of conservation programs in South Africa.

Ubuntu Wildlife Sanctuary has a full circle approach with our volunteers - where the volunteers not only assist with Conservation & Wildlife Rescue programs but also with our Community Outreach & Development projects. (Eg, Women Of The Future , Boys to Men & the Granny's Embroidery projects. )

By visiting the local community and school we expose them to all aspects of our NGO.
